HOW TO PREPARE YOUR COOKING OIL FOR PICKUP
Follow these 3 simple rules to ensure your oil is ready for optimal biodiesel refining.
Cool Down Completely
Never pour hot oil into glass or plastic containers. Always let your frying pan or kadhai rest until it reaches room temperature.
Strain Food Solids
Use a standard household mesh tea strainer or cheesecloth to filter out burnt batter, spices, and crumbs before storing.
Keep Free From Water
Do not let tap water mix with the used oil, as moisture hinders the transesterification refinement into clean biodiesel.
